Getting Someone to Run Your Online Business

Outsourcing...some think it's evil, that it destroys authenticity. But is it necessary in today's ever changing digital landscape. I have recently launched a Managed Services package based on client research. Many clients I have worked with have no skills in managing their online presence nor do they have the time or the inclination to acquire these skills.

And rightly so, if it's not your core strength then why waste time up skilling in areas that are alien to you. Outsourcing in technology has always been both controversial and problematic. It threatens home grown talent as it tends to be cheaper but it can lack the quality and consistency of an in-house team.

But is this changing? more and more agencies and freelancers are outsourcing work. This allows them to provide additional services in areas where they aren't highly skilled. So why not have the ability to outsource whole sections of your business. This does already exist for services like HR but why not marketing.

I have launched a new package with the aim of helping those small businesses who just don't have the resources to manage their online business yet don't want to engage with multiple agencies at high costs. I do hope this strategy is introduced for other industries also but I wonder are businesses open to outsourcing or still too territorial?
