Predictions for 2015

Content marketing, online PR, thought leadership and reputation management are all key components of a new marketing mix that we need to pay attention to in 2015 even as small businesses.

With so much online chatter happening every day and from so many different sources, big companies are investing heavily in content teams to make sure their brands stay front of mind…but where does that leave the smaller businesses and start -ups?

Forbes have predicted their top 10 local marketing predictions for 2015 and at number 9 they suggest that reviews will become even more powerful and already influence 78% of online purchasing decisions.

So our reputations and influence online should be front of mind in our marketing plans for next year and should be included in the budget for increased revenue.

But all channels are not relevant for every business. Over the course of the next few months I plan to look at the many different channels and how they can be combined to help you develop and increase your online reputation.
